2.  Deadline to submit official transcripts, 和 proof of degree or diploma

在你安排签证面试之前, you will first need to submit 你的 SEVIS Form I-20 application. 如果获得批准, 国际学生服务 will send 你的 SEVIS Form I-20 to you, along with instructions to schedule 和 prepare for 你的 visa interview.

The application process for the SEVIS Form I-20 和 F-1 Student Visa can take several weeks, so it is extremely important for students to be prepared 和 plan ahead. The deadline to complete the Student Visa Interview is June 7, 2024.

NOTE: Students 必须 be formally admitted before the SEVIS Form I-20 document can be issued. Students that are conditionally admitted 不能 receive a SEVIS Form I-20 until they have completed their files with the Office of 入学 和 have been formally admitted.

Placement exams are used to determine the level of each student’s abilities in music history, 音乐理论, 听觉技能和其他与特定专业相关的科目. A new student can place out of remedial courses 和/or required courses by excelling in these exams. Placing out of a course will allow greater flexibility in their coursework. An email will be sent to all new incoming students with detailed information by mid-May. 请务必检查您的MSM邮件.
